news | 04. October 2006 DPI locking system now with own EVVA profile
The newly developed key profile offers life-long trademark protection.
Life-long protection effect
The DPI locking system will be manufactured in the new, trademark-protected EVVA profile in the future. This is a new lengthways profile, recognisable by the writing "EVVA" when looking at the cross-section through the key. Because EVVA as a brand has life-long protection, this profile also has life-long protection.
The cylinders have a modular or compact design. The usual DPI product portfolio remains unchanged.
Security features
The functional principle is based on 5 or 6 sprung, active pins. The lengthways profiling in the cylinder core, and consequently on the key profile, describe the string "EVVA" as a contour.
The cylinder security conforms to EN 1303, Attack Resistance Class 2 and Lock Security Class 4 and 6.
The product was launched for sale during the 4th quarter of 2006.
