press, news | 08. October 2010 EVVA takes stake in "d line".
Security meets design excellence.
The successful "d line" product range by the Danish escutcheon and bathroom fittings supplier Carl F was recently sold to an international consortium and now operates as a company in its own right. EVVA Sicherheitstechnologie GmbH has acquired a 30 % stake in d line,
famed throughout the world for its unique product design. With a range which includes door fittings, window fittings, bathroom fixtures and control systems, d line products are developed by mastermind and designer Knud Holscher and impress due to their minimalist use of shape, inspiring elegance and optimum quality craftsmanship.
Innovative, high-grade, future-proof.
These characteristics perfectly match EVVA's high standards and own benchmarks. As one of the leading manufacturers of security technology in Europe, this long-standing, Austrian company thus decided to take a 30% stake in d line.
Mr. Stefan Ehrlich-Adám, CEO at the EVVA Group, highlights the synergies achieved from this investment: 'The stake in d line means a key strategic investment for EVVA. The ideal match between the two companies with regard to high technology and aesthetic design underpin EVVA's strategic direction. We will use the advantages which d line's special product portfolio, effective distribution network and contacts with architects give us to boost our activities on the international security market.'
EVVA under expansion
The stake in d line in Denmark is yet another important milestone in EVVA's market development, in addition to the takeover of Sibersa in Switzerland, Guard in the Czech Republic and Security Land in Austria as well as the founding of EVVA Sicherheitsschlösser GmbH in Velbert, Germany.
